The Lansing State Journal is reporting that Michigan State University has decided to close the campus due to the cold temperatures for the second straight day.

On Wednesday, the school shut down for just the seventh time in history. Closure number eight takes place Thursday. Students and faculty do not need to report to campus again Thursday...only employees classified as critical will have to report.

The story says that MSU expects to resume normal activities on Friday. As a side note, Thursday evening's MSU Women's Basketball game against Penn State has been postponed and rescheduled for February 27.
