Michigan Senate To Vote On Banning Medical Marijuana Billboards
According to a story from WLNS.com, legislators in the Michigan Senate are considering banning billboard advertisements for medical marijuana across the state. The bill, written by local Senator Rick Jones, was approved by the Senate Judiciary Committee and now moves to the full Senate for consideration.
The bill is nearly identical to state restrictions for billboard advertisement of tobacco products. The House of Representatives is also considering a companion bill.
