The Detroit Free Press reports that some residents in Michigan could get another glimpse of the northern lights tonight.

According to the report, the Space Weather Prediction Center predicts a geomagnetic storm to affect the atmosphere during the overnight hours Wednesday into Thursday. So, if the weather cooperates and clouds thin overnight, some folks around the state could see a pretty unique and uncommon light show.

If the aurora borealis were to be seen in Mid-Michigan, it would likely be visible on the horizon, with more impressive viewing possibilities the further north you travel.
