WILX.com is reporting that the Michigan Department of Natural Resources has issued a fire weather warning in northern parts of the Lower Peninsula. However, the DNR is warning residents all over the state of the fire danger potentials.

Officials are asking folks that have fires this weekend to keep them small, contain them with a fire ring, and to keep a water source on hand for any potential accidents.
