Michigan Congressman Leads Lawsuit Against Trump

John Conyers the long serving Congressman from Michigan was among about 200 US lawmakers that filed a lawsuit against President Trump today. The lawsuit claims that Trumps business interests somehow violate the Emoluments Clause in the Constitution. No one has ever been charged with the clause in the history of the nation but it is clear that Conyers and his ilk will stop at nothing to stop the duly elected President of The United States from carrying out his duty to the people that elected him.

Although he offered no evidence of such an accusation Conyers made a blanket statement condemning the President, “Trump has conflicts in at least 25 countries and it appears he’s using his presidency to maximize his profits.”

The suit has been given little chance of going anywhere but hey why not some more distractions from the actual business of running America!
