No question gas prices have been rising of late, but no more so than right here in Michigan!

WLNS-TV is reporting on a survey by GasBuddy.com that finds the state with four of the highest gas prices in the Great Lakes region and the country.

Number one?  Lansing, where prices have increased 70-cents a gallon just since January.  Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo aren't far behind.

While Champaign, Illinois was listed as four on the list, it was "back" to Michigan for number five: Flint.

The report indicates that the price for a gallon of unleaded gas in the Lansing area was at or near $3.75.  The Michigan average is $3.69.  The national average is $3.54 a gallon.

Ann Arbor also made the list at number 14.
