According to a report from WILX.com, a man sentenced for attacking a prosecutor in an Ingham County will serve a longer than expected prison sentence.

Joshua Harding was sentenced to at least 20 years in prison for his attempted attack on an Ingham County Assistant Prosecutor after pleading guilty to the assault in 2016. Prosecutors appealed a judge's initial sentence saying that Harding should serve at least 25 years when his prior criminal history is taken into account. The Michigan appeals court agreed.

However, the appeals court is giving Harding the option to withdraw his guilty plea. For more details, visit this link to WILX.com.
