Leading U.S. Businessman Says G.M. Is In Good Hands
General Motors new C.E.O. is getting high marks from investor Warren Buffet. He says Mary Barra is the right person to have in charge to handle G.M.'s assorted recall issues. In fact Buffet says Barra would do well leading any kind of business.
A company owned by Buffett owns a lot of G.M. stock--about $40 million worth.
Barra started working at G.M. when she was 18. She took over the top job at G.M. earlier this year. In the April edition of "Time" magazine she was named one of the top 100 most influential people in the world.
