According to multiple reports, Lansing Police are investigating the city's second homicide of the year. wilx.com reports a 39-year-old man was found dead this morning in the 600 block of Fenton Street. wlns.com reports that the incident was a shooting that occured just after 11:00AM Thursday. The Lansing State Journal reports that investigators are looking for multiple suspects.

Nearby schools were put on a short lock-down as students were being released after a scheduled half-day of school. According to the reports, LPD says this was not a random act.
