According to a report from WILX.com, the Lansing Board of Water and Light wants to hear from customers about a proposed rate hike.

The utility is proposing a rate hike of electric, water, and steam services over the next three years. Electric rates would increase by 3.9% in 2018, 2019, and 2020. Water rates would go up 5.5% in 2018 and 7.5% in 2019 and 2020. Steam rates would go up 5.5% in 2018, 7.9% in 2019 and 2020.
