Saturday marks National Drug Take Back Day. And, according to a report from WILX.com, there are plenty of Lansing Area locations accepting old, expired, or unused prescriptions to help prevent the drugs from making the streets.

The initiative was first launched in 2010. And, according to the report, so far, the program has collected more than 9 million pounds of prescriptions.
