A longtime corporate employer has received a grant to create hundreds of new jobs in Lansing. WLNS.com reports that Jackson National Life has received $3 million from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation to create 300-700 new jobs at its corporate headquarters. The new positions will be filled over the next few years, according to the report.

Jackson National was one of four businesses awarded more than $158 million in grants to create new jobs. A new Owosso based animal feed plant also received grant assistance.
