This weekend Michigan is filled with sporting events that dad will enjoy, how convenient since it is Father's Day weekend.

If you are still looking for a gift for dad, how about tickets to a Tigers game?  The Detroit Tigers are playing a 3 game series against the Minnesota Twins.  Tonight the game will begin at 7:08PM, Saturday's game begins at 4:08PM, and Sunday there is an early afternoon game at 1:08PM. GO TIGERS!

If you are not a baseball fan, NASCAR is racing at Michigan International Speedway.  The Quicken Loans 400 series begins with practice today.  Saturday will be the 23rd appearance of the Nationwide Series at MIS.  You can see your favorite driver race for 250 miles for the checkered flag.  Sunday is the main event.  The Sprint Cup Series drivers will battle it out for 200 laps, all trying to take home the trophy from Michigan.  While you are watching these races cheer on some home state boys.  Tim Fedewa a former driver is now a spotter for Kevin Harvick in the #4 Budwiser Chevrolet, Tim hails from Holt.  Brad Kelselowski in the #2 Miller Lite Ford Fusion is representing his hometown Rochester Hills this weekend.
