Are the Senate Republican’s interested in Kid Rock (Robert Ritchie) running for Senator in Michigan?

The answer appears to be yes.

The Washington Examiner is reporting on the head group backed by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell stating they are “very interested” in Kid Rock running against Senator Debbie Stabenow in 2018.

The president of the Senate Leadership Fund, Steven Law, said he told Kid Rock that:

we hope you run

He also was quoted in the article stating:

The superficial sense of Kid Rock is that he's an entertainer, that he's kind of this wild redneck, but the truth of the matter is that he's done a lot in his home state philanthropically, he's a pretty smart guy, he thinks about policy, and he's a shrewd businessman.  He hasn't stayed this long in the business that he's been in by actually living the life that he looks like he lives when he's on stage. So I certainly wouldn't count him out. We'd be pretty interested in his candidacy

So several questions still remain:

Should he run?

Will he run?

Would people support an entertainer if he does run?

I will add another thought and that is, you must ask yourself what have the same old same old trained politicians done for you and us in the last 4 decades?
