I have read and researched considerably and I have been unable to find an instance that would justify a late-term partial birth abortion. I spoke to one physician who said past 30 weeks of gestation that he could not fathom any circumstance where killing the baby would be necessary to save the life of the mother.

So if I cannot find an example and my doctor cannot think of any reason to conduct a late-term partial birth abortion then why are we talking about this. Hillary Clinton has gone on and on about the rights of the mother and protecting the lives of mothers but it seems that is a red-herring.

So I am asking you. Is there something I am missing? Can you give me an example of a necessary late-term abortion to save the life of the mother? I am looking forward to you helping me with this research.

If we cannot come up with an example I would suggest that such procedures should certainly be illegal. I would further suggest that Congress find a date that can be agreed upon that would be a cut-off for abortions. The majority of Americans think abortions should not occur after 20 weeks. I can live with that, at least for now. I mean at least it is a step in the right direction.

What do you think?
