Memorial Day Travel in Michigan: What to Expect on the Roads

Mike Nystrom, Executive Vice President Michigan Infrastructure and Transportation Association joined Steve Gruber and Jo Anne Paul this morning on the Steve Gruber Show to update us on some interesting legislation in the works to better our roads.

Nystrom said that the current fixes are "like band aids where we need major surgery." Going into a holiday weekend with heavy travel many are wondering what the condition of our roads are currently.  There are several pot holes and according to Nystrom crumbling bridges.

We see gas prices going up but hardly any of the money is going to fix the roads.  Listen to what Nystrom said is being proposed to change this:
