Governor Snder applauding the decision by a federal Judge to allow the city to move forward with it's bankrupcy plan.  The decision Monday by Judge Steven Rhodes came after hearing testimony from the state--including the governor--and union groups.  At issue, whether pensions should be protected.  They are by state law but not by the feds. Rhodes wants the sides to get together even now to work out a deal.  He did not stay his order, though, so it will move forward despite an appeal already filed by union groups.  Governor Snyder says there will be be pain, but in the end, the bankrucpy is good not only for the city but the state.
