In an effort to try and entice further investment in Michigan by overseas auto and manufacturing companies, Governor Snyder will be in Germany and Italy next month. Among those going along on the trip with him include representatives from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation and Detroit Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Last year Michigan exported billions of dollars to both countries. The Governor hopes to build on what's been accomplished so far. One of the objectives: help see to it more businesses over there consider Michigan any time they plan on expanding. In turn officials say this would certainly lead to the creation of more jobs in the state.
