Those who enjoyed gas prices last week of near $3 a gallon, aren't seeing that price anymore.

AAA Michigan says prices at the pump have risen 4 cents a gallon this week to average of $3.33 a gallon.  While it's an increase from last week, it is nearly 40 cents less than we were paying last year at thiis time.

The survey found the cheapest prices can be found in the Detroit area at $3.29 a gallon.  The highest is in the Lansing and Benton Harbor areas where prices are--on average--$3.36.  Some stations in those areas have gas priced at closer to $3.50 a gallon.

No word yet on why the increase or if it will continue.  AAA Michigan surveys 2,800 stations daily.
