Gas Prices on the Move Again
Gas prices in Michigan are moving again, but is it in the right direction?
The Detroit News is reporting that AAA Michigan officials say the prices have actually fallen. No party hats yet, though. The price drop for regular unleaded is only about a penny a gallon.
That takes the statewide average to $3.72 a gallon. The price when compared to the same period last year is much more significant–down a full dime.
The cheapest gas in the state was found in the Detroit area at $3.67 a gallon. The highest in the Flint and Traverse City areas at $3.78 a gallon. The price in Lansing right around $3.60.
