WILX.com is reporting that former Michigan State University football player Auston Robertson has agreed to a plea bargain with Ingham County prosecutors related to an April 2017 sexual assault in Meridian Township.

Robertson was originally charged with two counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct. His plea bargain charges him with assault with intent to penetrate. Robertson will be sentenced in December, when he could face more than three years behind bars. Additionally, Robertson will have to register as a sex offender.
