WILX.com reports that a developer has purchased land plots in Lansing, Lansing Township, and Delta Township that once housed General Motors assembly and production plants. The long vacant land parcels are set to undergo major redevelopment, possibly as early as Spring 2017.

According to the story, NorthPoint Development has purchased nearly 260 acres of former GM plant land and will redevelop the properties into manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution centers for the auto industry. The land set for the redevelopment once housed GM Plants 2, 3, 5, and 6.
