Ford Recalls SUV’s For Fuel Leaks
WILX.com reports a major recall from Ford Motor Company. Ford is recalling nearly 412,000 sport-utility vehicles worldwide due to an issue with fuel leaks that may cause a vehicle fire. Vehicles affected are some 2010-2012 Ford Escapes, and 2010-2011 Mercury Mariners. All of the affected SUV's are powered by Ford's 3-liter flex-fuel V6 motors.
The recall does not affect all vehicles that fit this description. Owners of SUV's in need of repair will be notified by December 12.
