A look at what the government climate scientist from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Climate Prediction Center (CPC) predicted and the Farmers' Almanac forecast for this years winter is very interesting.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Climate Prediction Center (CPC) predicted temperatures would be “above normal from November through January across much of the lower 48 states", while the 197-year old Farmers’ Almanac predicted this winter would be “bitterly cold”.

If the government climate experts can not accurately predict the weather just a few months in advance what makes you think they can predict years if not decades in the future?
