A night of unique southern sound–hot jazz, soul, blues and swing.

In honor of the 20th anniversary of the Squirrel Nut Zippers’breakthrough album, Hot, creator Jimbo Mathus and founding member Chris Phillips craft a show of Delta blues, gypsy jazz, ‘30s swing and more, with leading musicians from New Orleans serving up the band’s unique flavor. “It’s not a reunion, it’s a revival!” Mathus exclaimed. The night also features Davina & the Vagabonds, who have stirred up the national scene with high-energy live shows, level A musicianship, sharp-dressed professionalism, and a commanding stage presence. Their shows combine New Orleans charm, Memphis soul swagger, dark theatricality, and tender gospel. Davina defies categories. She has been compared to Etta James, Amy Winehouse, Janis Joplin, Billie Holiday and Betty Boop...but she is a true original!
