Michigan Authors on the Grand

Michigan Authors on the Grand is an annual gathering of Michigan authors, publishers and those in the craft of making books to network and also allow the public to pick up copies of their favorite Michigan authors' books AND get them signed! Plus, you can even pick their brains for inspiration, techniques, pointers and... what about that one character you just love... or hate?

This year, the event will be held at the Grand Ledge Area District Libraryto help them not only to stock their shelves more but to also bring about more awareness of their programs and benefits to the community. I'm very excited for this opportunity to not only use this gorgeous space but also bring a few extra people through the doors to see all the amazing things they're doing there!

Authors will be donating books to the library as well as raffles. The raffles will be for groupings of signed books, author and book swag items along with merchandise from and gift cards/certificates to local businesses. Tickets for the raffle are $2 or 3 for $5, and a portion of the proceeds will go to the library for more media purchases.

The event itself is free and being held Saturday, April 25th 11am - 3pm at the main branch of the Grand Ledge Area District Library, 131 East Jefferson Street, Grand Ledge, MI. With over 20 authors lined up and all Michigan authors!
