“Candid Moments” – An Art Exhibit

"Candid Moments," a new exhibit by Michigan artist Kerri Goodman, is now on display at The Peoples Church of East Lansing. The exhibit, which includes 23 pieces from the artist's collection, depicts life's moments of sudden realization, integration or insight. She brings such stolen moments as children at play, animals in their habitat, a basket weaver at work or flowers blooming in a sunny field. Her medium of choice is oil, followed by watercolor and then acrylic.
"Candid Moments" is one in an ongoing arts program organized byt the Peoples Church in support of the belief that the arts exist at the heart of faith and contain within them the power and capacity to lift the human spirit.
The exhibit is open Monday through Friday, 12 Noon to 4:00 p.m. and Sunday 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon. Admission and parking are free. Visitors may enter from the church parking lot and pick up a catalog for the exhibit inside the northwest entrance of the church.
