State officials are looking over a proposal that would clear the way for charities to schedule more poker games. This would allow more of them to be held at a wider range of facilities like schools, churches, bars along with other places too. Under this plan while the number of days would be limited charities would have the option of having someone who is licensed handle things or they could do it on their own. Charities say these games make for excellent fundraisers when trying to generate money for a variety of important programs.
