State lawmakers are considering a proposal designed to help make sure teenagers do not miss too much school. Under this plan if they did they would lose their driver's license. Key backer of the legislation is State Representative Andy Schor. He says driving is a privilege and there's no greater incentive to most teens than to be able to drive. Under the plan those that are absent too often and are too young to drive would not be allowed a license when they are old enough.
