A Federal Judge in Detroit is expected to rule Monday on whether deportations of Iraqi citizens can continue. The American Civil Liberties Union is hoping to get more momentum in stopping the deportations which has exceeded 100 people in Southeast Michigan already.

Judge Mark Goldsmith will be reviewing the matter according the Associated Press.

Most of those targeted to face deportation are Chaldean Christians that would be in danger if they are forced to return to their homeland. The ACLU says this is the dark side of President Trump’s deportation policies and highlights why they should be stopped.
