Michigan State's season came to a hard end with a 45-12 loss on the road to Big Ten East winner Penn State. With an ugly 3-9 on the otherwise good record of Mark Dantonio many people were demanding a change for what was the worst season in MSU history since 1991 by win total (3-8) and 1982 by win percentage (2-9).

From MLive: "I'm not even considering letting any of our staff go," Dantonio said on Saturday night. Dantonio was asked if any changes of responsibility are possible, and responded that "we'll look at what we do as a staff."

Dantonio did reiterate multiple times that no staff members would be let go during his postgame press conference at Happy Valley.

As a head coach this is only the 2nd season in his career Dantonio has missed a bowl game (2005, Cincinnati) and for Michigan State it's their first non-bowl season since 2006, the year after Mark Dantonio was hired.
