It's not rain, sleet or snow that is stopping the mail from being delivered to your mailbox today, it's the dangerously cold temperatures. According to the United States Postal Service, with the weather forecasters warning of dangerously cold conditions in parts of the nation--including Michigan--many mail deliveries have been suspended for today. Officials with the postal service say that the "due to this arctic outbreak and concerns for the safety of USPS employees, the Postal Service is suspending delivery January 30th in many areas throughout the United States.

The mail delivery suspension does include lots of areas in Michigan.
