Scanner reports indicate large crowds gathering at multiple areas in East Lansing and on the Michigan State University Campus after MSU's Big Ten Football Championship victory. There have also been multiple reports of fires being set in East Lansing streets and campus lots. Multiple police agencies are currently working to keep celebrations under control in the area known as Cedar Village, near the intersection of Grand River and Bogue. Multiple fires are currently being reported on Waters Edge near Cedar and Bogue. Scanner traffic also indicates unruly subjects throwing objects at officials near the scene, preventing East Lansing Fire Crews to engage at this time. Authorities have also been dispatched to multiple fire reports at other areas: Kedzie near Albert Ave., Case Hall, Beal Street near Michigan Avenue, the 100 block of Spartan Avenue, and multiple locations on Oakhill between Evergreen and Hillcrest.
