A Georgia man started a petition that would require all state, county and local police to wear lapel cameras.  The petition has reached the 100,000 signature threshold that Obama officials have said was needed for them to respond to, it currently has approximately 128,000 signatures.

Remember though for a law to be passed a member of Congress would have to create a bill, the bill must pass committees in the House and Senate and then pass in the full House and Senate before the President could sign it.

Do you think this is a good or bad idea?

What are the pro's and con's of a police officer wearing a lapel camera?

Let's talk about it today on my show the Live with Renk Show at 9:00 am on WBCK, WKMI and WJIM.
