A new survey finds a lot of Americans not real confident about another big bang-up year for the stock market.

40-percent of those surveyed for the Associated Press-GfK poll think the market will stabilize in the New Year but not much more.  Nearly the same number--39-percent--believe it'll drop but not crash.

There are some who think that will happen too.  The survey found 5-percent of those surveyed think another historic event will hit in 2014.  Only 14-percent of those polled believe the stock market will rise beyond current levels.
