The Click It or Ticket campaign is in full swing heading into the holiday weekend.  Memorial Day weekend is usually filled with travel.  While you are out having a good time remember to wear your seat belt.

The Michigan State Police will be out in full force in 40 counties handing out $65 tickets for motorists not wearing their seat belt.

The point behind the campaign is to decrease the number of deaths and injuries in accidents where people are not wearing seat belts.

Lynn Sutfin, Public Information Coordinator for the Michigan Office of Highway Safety Planning for the Michigan State Police joined Steve Gruber and Jo Anne Paul this morning on the Steve Gruber Show, listen to what she had to say:

Will you Click It this weekend?
