Not only do questions remain on how a Pontiac woman could have been dead for years before her body was discovered, but now it looks like the strange case has become even more bizarre.

The Lansing State Journal is reporting that voting records show Pia Farrenkopf voted in the 2010 gubernatorial election.  Problem is, she is believed to have died long before that.

The woman's "mummified" body was found in the back of her Jeep in the garage of her home this month.  It's believed she died in 2008 but due to the nature of her job, which required traveling, neighbors thought she was either away from home or that she had simply moved away.  Her body wasn't discovered until foreclosure proceedings were underway.

The report indicates the voting records are raising some eyebrows.  The current Pontiac City Clerk believes the date listed is a typo and that the date that Farrenkopf actually voted was in the 2008 election--the same year she is believed to have died.

Others aren't accepting the explanation so easily, wanting instead an investigation.
