JPMorgan Chase has mounting troubles.  There are increasing doubts about the security of customer information that is kept by lenders and other businesses.

There was a cyber attack over the summer that affected approximately 83 million small businesses and households that used online banking services and mobile apps.

According to JPMorgan Chase the names, addresses, phone numbers and emails of customers were stolen.

So far the bank is saying that sensitive information is safe.  They have no reason to believe account numbers, Social Security numbers, passwords, and birth dates of clients were among the stolen information.
