Renk

Renk is a native Detroiter, and started his working career in the banking industry in Boston, Massachusetts, a great town for a young person. That led him to a company that sold bond accounting systems to the banking industry and gave him the chance to travel all over the United States for eight years. After that, he got married and settled down to work in a friend's business, helping drug companies deal with FDA compliance. Several years later the family moved from the Philadelphia area back to Michigan to be closer to family, and landed in Battle Creek, Michigan. That's when Renk decided to pursue his life long dream of working as a Talk Radio Host. He started out on WBCK, and added WKMI in Kalamazoo in 2011.

Interesting that Senator Gary Peters, D-Michigan, who is a big supporter of increasing the minimum wage because as he stated in a news release speaking on legislation increasing the federal minimum wage “Nobody who works full time in this country should have to live in poverty, but that is the brutal economic reality for millions of families across the country right now who can't make ends meet in the face of stagnant wages and increased costs of daily necessities,"

Possible Crack In The MCCA Law

 

Michigan Senate Insurance Committee might pass an auto insurance bill that would no longer have unlimited medical insurance.

An article in the Detroit Free Press late this afternoon is reporting that Michigan’s Senate Insurance Committee might pass an amended version of Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan's D-Insurance auto insurance plan.  Mayor Duggan’s plan though would not only be for Detroit but other Michigan cities as well.
