More cold weather and winter storms are hammering Michigan. While people are busy looking out for themselves and their families animal control officials say all too often they overlook the health and well being of their pets. In some cases they are left outdoors. They say in very little time the severe cold and windchill can result in frostbite and hypothermia and death. Animal control officials are saying they are getting additional calls from people who are reporting seeing animals left in these dangerous outdoor conditions.
