Michigan Congressman Justin Amash wrapped himself in the Constitution after voting against Kate’s Law and another bill aimed at curbing sanctuary cities in the country. It's  the latest example of Amash pretending to care about the country while taking a position that is in direct contrast to what is best. It is certainly not what voters were looking for when they elected President Trump and a majority of Republicans to Congress in November.

It certainly begs the question of who will step up to give Amash a primary challenge which is a near certainty based on the political temperature of the country these days. Refusing to help Trump with his agenda for making ‘America Great Again’ could prove to be a poor choice in a political career and make him a target by the time voters begin thinking about who to vote for in 2018.
