Adding Patrols: Michigan Troopers and Officers on the Lookout

State and local police agencies are on the watch for lawbreakers and that includes those driving drunk and/or on drugs or driving erratically New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. Michigan Office of Highway Safety Planning Director Michael Prince says the best way to start out the New Year is by celebrating responsibly and designating a sober driver, taking a cab or spending the night. He says "Michigan law enforcement officers are serious about drunk driving enforcement. You will be stopped and you will go to jail. No exceptions or excuses."
